So, in this week’s episode of Smallville, Clark finally asked Lois to marry him and I have to say it was the perfect proposal for them. Lois being late for their date because she was being worker-bee reporter. Clark completely awkward and nervous and getting more nervous by the minute as Lois was pretty much babbling herself out of his plans. You could see the panic in his eyes as she was telling him they just forget the whole date and just go home. Then the perfect save - he pretends to hear a call for help and zooms away - only to call her on a phone booth and have falling white rose petals falling out of the sky. Then, he comes back and gets down on one knee and nervously, proposes. So, frakking adorable. She of course says yes, leaving me crying and the show not even being on for 5 minutes -lol!
Loved the surprise engagement party the gang threw for them too. As Lois pointed out, it was nice to see them together and not having to hide anything from anyone. They both just looked so happy and everyone was so happy for them. I think they all needed some happy to go with all the crazy going on in their world. I can relate, I need some happy with one of my tv couples too. It’s hard out here for those of us that like the crazy complicated ones. Sigh.
The show also continued with the destiny and fate themes for Lois & Clark. There was the letter from Chloe, the speech from Oliver and of course the comparisons between Lois & Clark and Carter & Shiera. I love how the show continues to point out how epic their relationship is and then goes on to make it epic. It’s not just talk - it’s show and tell. Carter saving Lois this week and dying in the process was also epic. He died as he lived a hero - but it’s not over for him. Death is a release that brings him back to his love Shiera through rebirth, and he knows that so he meets death with no fear and he makes Clark promise to never forget he needs Lois in life to be the hero he’s meant to be.
The music for this episode as always was great. One of the things I really liked about it this week though was that there were some fun winks to the fans. When Clark proposes to Lois, there is a slight hint of the theme to Lois & Clark The New Adventures of Superman in the background. Then, later at the engagement party, there’s a hint of the Superman & Lois theme from Superman The Movie. I really appreciate it when this show does stuff like that. You have all that history behind this couple - damn it, you should use it! In a way, Lois & Clark get reborn throughout time just like Hawkman and Shiera.
Overall, the entire episode was really good. I didn’t think they could top last week’s but they managed too. Can’t wait until the show is back from the break!!!
Let’s re-watch that magical proposal, shall we? Play it again, Sam!!
This blog is dedicated to the crazy, messed up and complicated fictional couples I love.

Chuck & Blair: Um, Hell to the NO!!!
Yes, on this week’s Gossip Girl, Chuck & Blair really didn’t have much air time, other than her warning him that Jack won’t be very helpful in saving Bass Industries. So, you’re probably wondering what the heck I’m blogging about. Well, this week Blair did have a lot of scenes with a certain guy from Brooklyn named Daniel Humphrey. Now, while they spent most of their time arguing while on their road trip to help Serena, I did not like the vibe at the end of this week’s episode. Dan & Blair were left as the only ones in town for the holidays – after softening a bit towards each other after their call to arms to help that moron Serena. I would just like to irritate, “Hell to the NO!!” Listen up, Josh Schwartz - there had better not be anything that happens over the break between my Blair and Dan. No way!! They are enemies and they can become frenemies – but that is all! I mean it!!! Do not mess with my Chuck and Blair like that!!! Especially with him! Ick!!!
Deep breath. Count to 10. Okay, end of rant. Lol!

Lois & Clark: “I Can’t Live in a World Where You Don’t Love Me”
I thought before we get tonight’s new episode of Smallville, I should probably talk about last week’s episode – lol! Even though Lois & Clark spent most of the episode in completely different universes – literally – we still got some awesome moments! My favourite scene was probably in the alternate universe, where Clark is a scary Luthor. Our Clark tries to convince alt-Lois that he won’t hurt her. He tries to tell her that he’s from a different universe and tries to convince her that he and the Lois in his world are close. He tells her a lot of really sweet, awesome stuff but my favourite two lines were when he tells her, “You can always tell when I’m lying. You can see straight into my soul, to my heart.” And then he goes on to promise that he won’t let this happen to him and his Lois and tells her, “I can’t live in a world where you don’t love me.” Then he takes off to try to get back to his Lois. Seriously, I’m not going to lie – I might have shed a couple of tears in that scene. I know, I know, I’m a big sap!
Later, when Clark returns to his world, Lois proves she truly can see into his soul, by just looking in his eyes to see that he is her Clark. This is a refreshing change from a lot of the TV shows I watch where the other person often cannot tell the difference between the person they love and their doppelganger. But in this case not a problem – yay!!! Lucky for Clark she was right too; otherwise Oliver would have nailed him with a kryptonite arrow! I also loved their last scene at the hospital with Clark’s apology for what his evil doppelganger did. So cute!
Can’t wait for tonight’s episode!! Alt-Lionel is in town and I’m sure some craziness will ensue!! I’m also hearing rumours there might be a proposal! Seriously, can’t wait!!! Ok, I need to watch alt-universe scene again. It was just so frakking good!
P.S. Gotta love how my “normal” couple spent time dealing with alternate universes and doppelgangers this week! Yep, so very normal –lol!

Damon & Elena: 7 More Weeks of Winter
So, I have a bit of catching up to do here thanks to a nasty computer virus which caused me to be sans computer for a few days. Anyway, over the last two weeks of The Vampire Diaries we haven’t had a lot Damon and & Elena together, but I have enjoyed the little bit we’ve had.
Last week’s episode Sacrifice, the scenes we got were mostly of Damon trying to save Elena in spite of herself. Elena was willing to sacrifice to herself to save the people she loves, but Damon wasn’t having any of that. I loved the bickering between these two in this episode and how Elena would go toe-to-toe with him and the hot steamy looks were very, very nice. I mean seriously how hot was the look they exchanged after she tried to deck him? So hot!! And hot was the look they exchanged while they were arguing in front of the tomb when they discovered Stefan was stuck inside and Elena kept to trying to run in so Damon had to stop her? And how much fun was it to watch the look on Stefan’s face while he was listening to them argue? Hehe. I know, I am evil –lol!
This week’s episode didn’t give us much with Damon and Elena at all – hell it really didn’t give us much of anything – period - but I digress. The scene near the beginning where Damon stopped to check in on Elena was cute. She was so mad at him for teaming up with Bonnie to keep her in the house so she would be safe, and he knew it. I loved how he just jumped on the couch beside her and put his arm behind her. I also love that it didn’t really bother her. It was also cute when she grabbed the pillow from under Jeremy and threw it at Damon as he left to meet Alaric. It seemed like an awfully close family moment to me. Just sayin….
The rest of the episode was really down hill from there. After Damon and Alaric’s tag team against the new werewolf in town didn’t work out (although, it was highly entertaining) – instead of going to check on Elena – he did something completely out of character and listened to Alaric and went home. Huh? Home, really? I’m still not happy with that. It really doesn’t make a lot of sense. Then, after Rose was attacked by the werewolf, she and Damon discussed being friends with benefit while he pines over Elena – which again, not so happy with that. While a ‘forget me frak’ is one thing, friends with benefits is another. Luckily, Rose got some nasty infection from the werewolf bite. That’s what you get for messing with my Dalena, bitch! Lol! Not to worry though, because on the other side of town, Elena’s making deals with Elijah to get Stefan out of though tomb, so they can make out at the end of the episode as well – to just further drive stakes in our Dalena loving hearts. Sigh. Oh well, I’m sure we’ll get some good stuff in the new year, it just sucks that we’re left with a feeling of ‘blah’ while we wait for the show to return in 7 weeks.
I feel the need to end on happier note so here’s the cute stuff from the beginning of this weeks episode. I think I’ve watched this scene 5 times now –lol!

Chuck & Blair: “Just Because We can’t Be Friends Doesn’t Mean We Aren’t.”
So, after a short break we had a new episode this week – and with it a little bit of Chuck and Blair. This week our dynamic duo teamed up in Serena’s time of crisis to be there for her, all the while trying to figure out how to orbit each other with out being a couple. Chuck was trying to keep his distance while fighting the urge to want to be there for Blair to lean on and Blair thought they could just be friends and go on as before without the “benefits”. On the way home from the hospital, Chuck tells Blair that he can’t be friends with her and it’s obvious by looking at him that the reason is it is just too painful for him to be around her right now and not be with her. Then, Blair kisses him on the cheek and says goodnight. Of course, Blair being Blair can’t leave things like that and sends him some pie with a note that says, “Just because we can’t be friends doesn’t mean we aren’t.” The smile on Chuck’s face has he read the note broke my heart. They’ll always be there for each other even if they’re no together.
The way these two are when they’re together really makes me wonder how long this being apart thing will last for them. I mean with only a few scenes they made it pretty clear they still both want to be together they just have to figure out how to be apart first. Well, at least with these two I feel pretty confident they will end up together it’s just a matter of when and how. I wish I was as confident with most of the other couples I root for!

Chuck & Blair: These two are killing me here!!
So, after watching this week’s episode of Gossip Girl, I really don’t know how I feel. The way they left Chuck and Blair was hopeful, yet heartbreaking at the same time. Our terrible two-some, started off the episode trying to be friends with benefits. Of course that didn’t last as they ended up working as team again and then of course Chuck said, “I love you” while they were in the middle of sex. Blair pretended not to hear him because she didn’t really want to deal with what it meant if he meant it – especially to both of their social standings. However once, Chuck sent a chef and team to help her impress Mrs. Archibald and the board Blair wanted to be head of – Blair ran over to Chuck’s Saints and Sinners party to see how he felt. There they declared their love for each other and the Brooklyn schemers revealed them together for all to see – including Nate’s mom. What I love about Chuck and Blair is that they decided if they were going down they were going to go down in flames – and kissed.
This is where I feel cheated and tricked! This show lulled me into a false sense of security! Chuck and Blair admitted their feelings in a very romantic – epic way – and decided to damn what others think. They made me think, ‘yay, they’re back together!’ And then, Chuck’s stupid assistant tells them that they’re relationship will make Chuck be successful and that Blair will really make a splash being Chuck Bass’ girlfriend. As soon as she identified Blair as Chuck Bass’ girlfriend I knew we were screwed. Blair realizes she needs to make her own way in the world before she can be connected to Chuck’s success and tells him they can’t be together until she does. They agree that they love each other and that if they’re meant to be together they will be.
Now seriously, how do you do this to me?!! Give me all this awesome and then pull the football away so I land on my butt. Sigh. At least Chuck said he’d wait for her. Seriously, this episode was pretty epic for them. All I have to say is Blair Waldorf better make her own success fast because I don’t know how long I can take watching Chuck look out the penthouse window longingly! Oh well, at least I know Chuck, Blair and pretty much everyone else knows they belong together. I’ll just have to stay tuned to see the long angsty story arch of them getting back to where they belong and luckily I trust this show to do a good job on the journey.
Now come one people, tell me this kiss isn’t epic! I dare you! Lol!

Lois & Clark: Is that a ring in your pocket…?!!!!
Um, did Smallville just tease me with an engagement ring at the end of this week’s episode “Abandoned”?!!!!! Seriously, as if enough awesome stuff didn’t occur in this episode Clark pulls out an engagement ring out of his pocket after Lois heads out the door?!!! OMG?!!! Total freak out occurring here!!! Breathing… Perhaps I should start at the beginning…
At the beginning of the episode, Lois finds a video tape her mom made for her before she died. She watches it and her mom, (played by Teri Hatcher – fan girl squeal – yay!) tells Lois not to let the hole left in her heart after losing her prevent her from falling in love and being with someone in the future. (Total tearjerker moment!) After reconnecting emotionally with her dead mother after all these years, Lois decides it’s time to help Clark do the same with Jor-El and figures out how to get herself to the Fortress of Solitude. While she appeals to Jor-El to fix things with Clark, he ignores her which pisses Lois off so naturally she lets him know it. This leads to her being suspended in the air –lucky for her, Clark comes to get her down. He wants to leave but Lois appeals to Jor-El again and he shows Clark a message that the real Jor-El and Clark’s mother Lara made before Krypton exploded. (And I cry again –lol!)
After they get back to the farm, Lois pulls out her toothbrush and makes it official that she’s moving in. They go insane and decide to go out on a karaoke date. Before they leave, Lois puts the box of her mother’s stuff away, and finds a note that says, “For Lois, on your wedding day, Mom.” She smiles and hides the note when Clark walks over. He asks if she’s blushing and she says she’s just happy and that they’d better leave know before all the White Snake songs are taken. (Flashback to love potion/red kryptonite infected Lois giving Clark a White Snake mixed tape –lol!) As she heads out the door, Clark pulls out a box and opens it and inside is rather nice looking engagement ring!!! Which brings us back to – Yay, yay, yay, yay!!!
I guess the question now is when will he pop the question? And how will he do it? And will she say yes? And how is this even kosher in Superman myth for them to get engaged so soon? How much do I care? OK, I guess that was more than one question. Lol!
Anyway, I’m not sure if we’re going to get any good Lois and Clark moments next episode, but from the preview it looks like we’re getting some shirtless Aquaman and Green Arrow – so sign me up!!! Plus, Battlestar Galactica’s Colonel Tigh himself, Michael Hogan will be guest starring. Can’t wait!!!

Damon & Elena: Sometimes It's the Little Things...
So, this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries didn’t have a lot of Damon and Elena but the 30 second scene we did get was good. There was a lot of tension there – both sexual and awkward – when she arrived at the Salvatore house. It seemed to me like they were playing it like part of her knows what he said, but part of her doesn’t. Both Nina and Ian can say a lot with their eyes and there was a lot of emotion going on in that little scene.
I know, I know, Damon slept with Rose this week. I should be furious, but I’m not. He did it as way to try to help him forget Elena and his feelings for her. Yeah, good luck with that buddy! Even Rose knows he loves Elena and she just met him!
So, no new episode til December 2!!! WTH are we supposed to do in the mean time? I guess I’ll have to re-watch some episodes. Oh, well! I just sat through the hideous road trip movie Due Date, maybe some Delena road trip time will ease the pain.
And hot does the next episode look?! It looks like we get some Delena and maybe some Katharine and Damon too – who knows. And, how about that naked Alaric? Guess he’s trying to make up for not being on that much this season –lol! Anyway, can’t wait!! In case you missed it, here’s the extended version of the promo for Sacrifice. I can’t seem to stop watching it! Go figure!

I Need a Damon & Elena Fix!!
Okay, so while I wait for Thursday to hurry up and get here so that I can see the follow up to last week's crazy episode, I realized I was in need of a Damon and Elena fix so I scoured youtube for some new fan vids. I figured I wasn't the only one itching for a fix, so I thought I'd be your dealer -lol!
Anyway, Here are few good ones that include scenes from the awesomeness of last week. The last one is my favorite! Enjoy!

Chuck & Blair: “Sex in a Limo. We’ve Literally Come Full Circle.”
On this week’s episode of Gossip Girl, Chuck and Blair were having lots and lots of ‘hate’ sex – everywhere and anywhere – and yes that includes back going back to their roots in the back of the limo –lol! Watching the two of them try to figure out how to stay away from each other was a riot. First, they tried having lots of sex to get each other out of their systems. Then, Blair decided staying as far away from each other was the best way to get what was going on between them to stop. Unfortunately for her, Chuck was sticking to their original plan of lots and lots of sex and kept calling her and showing up to surprise her. Of, course, in the end, it wasn’t the sex that brought them back together – it was the aftermath of doing what they do best together – taking down an enemy. Poor Juliet, fodder for Chuck and Blair – but yay for their fans!!!
I had so much fun with this episode I don’t even know what my favorite scene was. I loved the beginning with Serena walking in to Blair’s room not realizing Chuck was under the sheets. I swear Serena is oblivious to anything that isn’t revolving around her. I also loved the limo scene, and how funny was it when Chuck suggested they do it outside around the corner from the limo! And then there was, Chuck showing up at Blair’s in his robe ready to go – freaking her out completely, so she lied and said Serena’s boy toy was her date. Then, of course there was the Juliet take down, which they followed up with an honest conversation, which ended with them kissing sweetly and Chuck carrying Blair up the stairs. Sigh. These two are just all sorts of awesome! I guess Blair was right, “It’s harder to chuck Chuck than I thought.”

Lois & Clark: All Sorts of Awesome!
Okay, I feel the need to start by saying Lois and Clark are probably the most “normal” couple I root for right now. If you can call an alien super hero and the opinionated reporter he dates who is constantly in danger – normal –lol!
Anyway, over the last few weeks, Smallville has been giving the Clois fans out there some pretty awesome stuff. We have had Clark go to the future and have glimpse of their future together. We’ve had them exchange ‘I love you’s. We’ve had Clark finally tell Lois that he’s the Blur and her very excited reaction to the fact he finally told her. Than of course, we had them survive crazy children of the corn and a sweet love scene in celebration – yay!!!
And how hot was the beginning of this week’s episode which took up right where Clark & Lois left off last week – wanting to keep having a good time. A very good time, as Lois suggests they move the fun to the porch – unfortunately for them (and us) they are interrupted by Lois’ father and sister – surprise! The General and Lucy have come for an early Thanksgiving visit. Lucky Clark! Lol!
There some more really good stuff this week. I really liked the last scene with Clark and the General, where the General admitted that the huge list he made of ridiculous things for Clark to do around the farm was a test for Lois. He always does this to her boyfriends to see if she’ll stand up to him. He tells Clark that this was the first time she did, so she really loves him. Awwww….
Anyway, Lois & Clark survived her family visiting this episode (even if the Talon didn’t), will they survive Lois moving in with Clark or her meeting his dead birth parents next episode? I guess we’ll just have to wait and see! Lol! Now, I have to pause for a fan girl moment, because not only will Helen Slater be back as Lara, but Teri Hatcher will be on as Lois’ dead mother and I am so super excited about that!!! Is it Friday yet?
Anyway, here’s a sneak peak of Lois and Clark talking about her mother from the next episode. Can’t wait!!!

Anyway, here’s a sneak peak of Lois and Clark talking about her mother from the next episode. Can’t wait!!!

Flashback: V for Vendetta’s V & Evey
Since it’s November 5th today, I couldn’t help but think of one of my frakked up and complicated movie couples – V & Evey from the movie V for Vendetta. V is a disfigured revolutionary who, inspired by Guy Fox, wears a Guy Fox mask and costume and fights to take back a fascist England for the people. On November 5th, fate brings V to kindred spirit Evey’s rescue and continues to have them cross paths. Their relationship involves torture, mind games and a whole lot of crazy – but in the end, also love. Theirs is a relationship of the mind and the soul. On the following November 5th, V dies for his cause and Evey (along with a whole lot of other people) take up his cause of revolution. "Remember, remember the 5th of November..."
Here’s when Evey comes back to V and they share one last dance together:

Damon & Elena: Don’t go Breaking My Heart!
After watching this week’s episode of The Vampire Diaries, my Delena loving is heart is breaking! The main plot of the episode revolves around Damon and Stefan teaming up to save Elena from some Twilight wanna-be vampires who want to trade Elena to the Originals (old ass vampires) for their own lives. Apparently, Katharine and Elena actually come from a long line of doppelgangers who need to die to break the vampire curse. Anyway, back to my Damon, on Damon and Stefan’s road trip, Damon is constantly reminded that Stefan loves Elena and she loves him. The point is driven home in the heartbreaking form of Damon staking the big bad and looking up at a saved Elena who is smiling, only to discover that she’s smiling at Stefan and running into his arms, not Damon’s. The look in his devastated eyes as he tries to hide the pain – heart breaking! Elena looks over to him and mouths ‘thank you’ which seems to be turning into some sort of tradition with them. (Honestly, Damon does all the heavy lifting and Stefan gets the snuggling – so unfair! He can come over here. I’ll appreciate him –lol!)
Later on, when they get home, Stefan tells Damon that he’s sorry for turning him into a vampire. Damon turns away and leaves. Then, Damon shows up at Elena’s to return her vervain necklace that the big bad had taken from her. He tells her that he loves her and that he is going to do the selfless thing and let her go because Stefan deserves her and he doesn’t. Then he says he wishes she would remember this, kisses her on the forehead and as one tear drops from his eye he compels her to forget and puts the necklace on her and disappears before she even knows he was there. See, I can’t even type that with out rambling and crying again. There are tears on the keyboard!
This heart wrenching moment is angsty goodness and a huge turning point for Damon. He is putting someone else’s needs before his own. He loves Elena so much that he is willing to let her go. Technically, I guess he’s putting two someone else’s before himself – Elena and Stefan. He loves her and his brother and wants them to be happy and thinks Stefan’s better for her than he is. The ironic thing is that loving Elena is what makes Damon become a better man, it makes him discover his humanity again – but ultimately he has to let her go to be the good man she sees in him. Damn, this show is so good it hurts. Sigh.
Now, I guess we’ll see if Elena will remember this moment, in spite of Damon compelling her not too. Maybe she was brushing her teeth with vervain toothpaste? Or made some supernatural thing will happen and at a very dramatic moment – that’s when she’ll remember and the realization showing across her face will be so worth the wait. Yeah, I think I’d like that even better – I vote for that one! Anyway, right now Damon and Elena are at the right stage, we know just how much he loves her and we’re all dying to find out what her reaction will be when she finds out just how much. In the meantime, I’ll be watching the heart-breaking angst as it unfolds: cursing, crying, throwing things and loving every moment of the emotional rollercoaster ride.
Now, what do you say we watch that heart-breaking ending again? I can’t seem to stop myself!!!

Chuck, Blair & the Piano
Whoo-hoo!!! Chuck & Blair had make-up sex and they did it on a piano!!!! Once again proving that they make beautiful music together!! Okay, perhaps, since this is my first post, I should start this off a little more professionally. Let’s start this again…
Gossip Girl’s Chuck & Blair fall into probably my favourite kind of couple to root for – the bad boy/bad girl coupling. The nice thing about this type of pairing is if one of them screws up, the other will probably do something much worse soon and it will all even out between them in the end. Well, that and they usually have smoking hot chemistry that is made even better by the Mutually Assured Destruction that is left in their wake – whether they are fighting each other or fighting together.
On this week’s Gossip Girl, in the wake of Chuck and Blair’s break up, since M.A.D. is a given, Serena and Nate decided they needed to actually negotiate a peace treaty with our two favorite schemers. After some rather intense negotiations and Blair toying with Chuck, they came to agreement and signed the treaty – not without some lingering looks as they left the building, mind you.
Anyway, thanks to the lame scheming of Dan Humphrey, our Dynamic Duo slowly found their way back to one another through out the episode. First, they banded together after Dan’s lame Gossip Girl blast about Blair and Uncle Jack. This led to Blair giving Chuck an invite to her birthday party. At the party, Dan tried to undo the pair again by having an embarrassing karaoke video of a drunken Blair singing “Stand by your Man” played for all to see. Instead of putting the two of them at each other’s throats, it led to Blair confessing to a jealous Chuck that the only reason she knew where Jack Bass was this summer was because she had been desperately looking for Chuck.
At the end of the night, after everyone had gone home – Chuck was waiting for Blair. They ripped up the treaty as they declared that they “hated” each other and then went on to prove that there is a fine line between love and hate as they subsequently ripped each other’s clothes off and had crazy hot sex on the piano.
Does this mean, Chuck and Blair are officially back together? Well, we’ll have to wait until next week to see if they’re really back together or if this was just a hot moment of temporary insanity while they slowly wake up and realize they’re the only ones for each other. Either way it was a lot of fun and it will be even more fun watching what happens next.
This brings me back to my first statement in this post: Whoo-hoo!!! Chuck & Blair had make-up sex and they did it on a piano!!!! Here it is again incase you missed the wonderful moment or hell, want to watch it again! Damn, it’s hot!!!

Intro Post
This blog is dedicated to the crazy, messed up and complicated fictional couples I tend to love. The forbidden loves, the doomed loves, the demented loves – you know the ones that in the end are painful to root for, but are a hell of a lot more entertaining to read about or watch! I know there’s a lot of people out there just like me so I thought it would be fun to start a blog about these wacky couples we tend to follow. Anyway, enough talking about the blog, let’s get to the good stuff. Happy Reading!!
